Wild camp – 3 days adventure trip in the wilderness
All cooking takes place over the fire, and it is possible to choose a tent or hut as accommodation.
Here we will give you many tips and hints – and training in going on a wilderness trip. We have several alternative routes, and some will include canoeing, moving in old woods, walking up and down from various mountain plateaus.
Day 1 – Normal we will start on Friday afternoon, when we start by establishing camp and getting better acquainted with the bonfire. A joint dinner is made over the fire, and together with some good stories and a little briefing over the next day it will be a quiet evening. We meet you in Trysil approx. kl. 16, and continues with the common transport to the Wild camp starting area.
Day 2 – Saturday it is early up and walking through forests, over rivers, up and down smaller mountain passes. Lunch along the way. It is also possible we visit an old bear home for breakfast if we use one of several hiking routes. In the evening we arrive at the accommodation and a better bonfire dinner is served with fresh spring water and something else.
Day 3 – Breakfast when it suits guests. Then, packing and walking through forests, marshes, and crossing a river before we arrive at the place where we finish the trip. From here you will be transported back to Trysil. A simple lunch is served along the way. Expected arrival time to the closing point is at. 14.00.
Details of what you should bring with you on the trip will be emailed to you in good time before departure. We also have an agreement with Intersport in Trysil – they will be able to either rent you equipment or offer equipment at a very good price.
It is not a physically difficult trip, but you must be able to go and carry your equipment that can weigh up to 10 kg. It’s a matter of packing lightly, but we’ll help you with that. It is not possible to charge phones or other electrical equipment during the trip – as there is no place where we can charge along the way.
– Price per participant is 3500.-
– A detailed list of equipment you must bring is sent well in advance of departure
– All common transport from and to Trysil is included.
– Food and drinks along the way are included.
– Map of exit point is sent by SMS / email if you want to be picked up after the trip, and do not use the common transport.
Nature experiences are never guaranteed.
Although we try to recommend some periods we cannot guarantee that you will experience what you have come for, for example northern lights, animals since our success rate depends on Nature.
We therefore ask you to make allowances for any changes from the tour itinerary. If we are unable to offer a certain service due to an unforeseen situation, you will be offered a similar service.
Outdoor activities are also weather dependent. If we are forced to cancel an activity due to extreme weather conditions, an alternative activity suitable for the current conditions will be provided. Please note that changes may occur at a short notice.
